Below is our contracts that we use for all puppies born here at TennAzity.

Each one is specific to you & the puppy you have chosen.

Hold Contracts can be done online via email.

Each party will receive a fully signed copy that will be included inside your puppy folder.

The only one that must be signed in person will be done at puppy pickup. This is my general sale contract which explains what I will or have done for your puppy and what I expect of you as a follow through on the sale of each puppy. Each party will receive a fully signed copy that will be included in your puppy folder.

Reservation Cover Letter

Thank you again for choosing TennAzity Kennels for your next puppy! I've attached the Puppy Reservation Contract. The contract has our address for you to get directions here for Puppy Pick Up days. Please read it carefully before signing and returning it to me (you can print, copy and scan it back through email or send it the old-fashioned way with your deposit).

You may request a refund of your Deposit Fee within 24 hours of payment being made and BEFORE returning your signed contract. After those 24 hours and/or the return of the signed contract, the Holding Fee is non-refundable but transferable to another litter at a later time.

Important Information

Communication: You and I will be doing a lot of communicating between now and when you bring home your TennAzity Puppy! I recommend creating a folder in your email or on your Desktop in which to save all of our correspondence for future referencing.

I also recommend you add our email address to your contact list to avoid such communication from being mistakenly labeled as “spam”.

Balance Reminder: THE BALANCE IS DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS VIA “GOODDOG.COM OR CASH OR CASHIERS CHECK AT THE PUPPY PICK-UP APPOINTMENT (unless otherwise agreed). This is to confirm that the puppy held for you is in fact going to have a home at 8 weeks of age.

WE NO LONGER ACCEPT PAYPAL FOR PAYMENT OF THE BALANCE. It has come to our attention that PayPal has been allowing Buyers to cancel their payment after the puppy has left the home of a Breeder. To protect ourselves from this type of buyer fraud, we no longer accept payments from PayPal.

You will receive a “Purchase Agreement” Contract at this appointment once payment is received.

The buyer has placed a $ (20% of purchase price) NON-REFUNDABLE Deposit/Holding Fee on the puppy of their choice on: _________________________________, or at no earlier than 3 to 4 weeks of age. The puppy shall remain with Kim Mann/TennAzity Kennels, “Breeder” until the puppy is at least 8 weeks of age. AKC/CKC Full/Limited Registration Form will be provided at that time; puppies will have their first round of age appropriate vaccinations. The Buyer agrees to complete AKC/CKC registration of their puppy and to include the kennel name “TennAzity” as the pre-fix for the dog’s registered name. Buyer is aware of the following:

Balance of $ AKC/CKC FULL/LIMITED REGISTRATION (cash only) or via GoodDog.com is due at 9 weeks or before Pick Up. At 9 weeks of age the buyer will be able to take their puppy home from the litter with the Breeder’s guidance regarding raising, potty training and temperament etc. Order of pick up times will be scheduled accordingly.
Buyer agrees to respond to any and all communication from the Breeder in a timely manner in order to confirm that the puppy being held for them has a home at 10 to 12 weeks of age. The following terms apply to the transfer or forfeiture of the holding fee:
- This deposit/holding fee may be transferred only once by Buyer; continued failure to communicate with the Breeder and/or refusal of a puppy from the next litters will result in the forfeiture of the deposit/holding fee.
- Pick Up Appointment Emails are sent on the Saturday before the litter’s ninth week birthday. Buyer understands that a reply to confirm their PICK-UP appointment is expected within
  8 hours following their receipt of the scheduling email.
- Buyer agrees to show up at the agreed upon date and time to pick up the puppy of their choice as stated in the Pick-Up email. Should Buyer fail to email/text/call Breeder within 12 hours of NOT being able to fulfill their Pick-Up scheduled time or fail to show up at all, Buyer will forfeit any and all monies paid to Breeder. Buyer will also forfeit their choice of this puppy or any puppy in the future.

BREEDER: I will accept this holding fee to hold said puppy until it is at least 10 to 12 weeks old and under the terms listed above. If the puppy should no longer be available due to illness or accident, I agree to apply said reservation/holding fee to another available puppy from this litter or another available litter. The Breeder reserves the right to choose one puppy, male or female, from each litter produced which may delay puppy pick day for the gender the breeder is keeping. Balance in cash remains due at the 8 weeks Pick Up appointment or before.

Upon Puppy Pick-Up:

Seller will provide AKC/CKC Limited Registration Form, shot record and all other pertinent paperwork will be provided at that time of pick-up; puppies will have their first two (2) rounds of age-appropriate vaccinations.
Seller will also have said puppy Micro-Chipped with “Nano-Chips”. (Chips are included in puppy packs)
Buyer will register said puppy & register said puppy with “Nano-Chip” within 4 weeks of receiving information.
The Buyer agrees to complete AKC/CKC registration of their puppy and to include the kennel name “TennAzity” as the pre-fix for the dog’s registered name within 4 weeks of receiving puppy.

Buyer is aware of the following:

Balance of $ __________. “GoodDog” Payment is preferable and must be paid 7 days prior to pick-up.
Otherwise, CASH ONLY if paid at pick-up. Please let Buyer know how final payment will be paid ASAP.
At 10 to 12 weeks of age the buyer will be able to take their puppy home from the litter with the Breeder’s guidance regarding raising, potty training and temperament etc. Order of pick-up times will be scheduled accordingly.
Buyer agrees to show up at the agreed upon date and time to pick up the puppy of their choice as stated in the Pick-Up email. Should Buyer fail to email/text/call Breeder within 12 hours of NOT being able to fulfill their Pick-Up scheduled time or fail to show up at all, Buyer will forfeit any and all monies paid to Breeder. Buyer will also forfeit their choice of this puppy or any puppy in the future.
Buyer agrees to care for said puppy in an appropriate manner, not to mistreat puppy in any manner. Feed a quality food, not to leave said puppy outdoors in inclement weather, not to be chained up outside at ANY time. To raise said puppy as a member of their family.
Puppy is being sold on AKC/CKC Limited registration and will not be used in any breeding program. Buyer will not register said puppy with another registry to obtain another entities Full registration for the purpose of breeding said puppy. Puppy may however compete in Agility, Rally, Field, or Obedience trials at any time.
The Breeder makes no warranty as to the suitability of the said puppy for breeding or potential for Show/Conformation or Field/Agility Trials unless otherwise stated in further contracts, or any other special use other than companion pet and the puppy being held for the buyer will be sold under Limited Registration. Puppy must be spayed/neutered between 18 and 24 months to insure proper growth. Spaying/Neutering before this time may cause growth plates not to properly set and can cause irreparable damage.
Buyer agrees that it is prudent to continue with a 5-way or 7-way DHLPP vaccinations. A rabies vaccination is recommended at 6 months of age. It is also recommended to continue yearly vaccinations as recommended by your chosen Veterinarian. TennAzity Kennels is NOT responsible for the puppy’s health and welfare after leaving my home as they are always at risk for diseases.
Above said puppy was picked up on: ______________________________. The puppy was examined again prior to leaving my home and no defects were found.
Puppy is being sold in good health at the time of Pick-up. Buyers agree not to take puppy anywhere but home. Buyer may not take puppy to parks, stores or other family’s homes until puppy has completed two (2) more series of vaccines. Puppies are always very vulnerable to any/all diseases at this age, once puppy leaves Seller’s home, seller is no longer to be held liable for any/all diseases puppy may acquire.
There are no guarantees or warranties on any puppy sold by TennAzity Kennels at any time.
If for any reason said puppy can no longer be a member of this household for whatever reason, said puppy must be returned to Breeder along with any/all paperwork regarding registration and chipping information, with no refunds due at any time, so Breeder may find another suitable home that Breeder deems appropriate.

I/we agree to the terms set forth above and agree to comply with everything set forth in this agreement. This agreement will not be modified or changed unless written and notarized. No other written or verbal statements are expressed or implied shall alter this agreement.
